Marks and Spencer
Marks and Spencer - MCFP (Multi-channel Foundation Program)
With over 100 years of retail history and 700+ UK stores, M&S has struggled to keep pace with the modern world of retail fashion. Our challenge was to create an inspirational new digital flagship for the UK’s largest fashion retailer. As part of the overall program of work, we designed for Desktop, Tablet, Mobile, Kiosk, Concept Stores and 12 local language sites.
M&S was behind the pack in the competitive stakes for women’s fashion. They needed to demonstrate a point of view on fashion and a greater lifestyle relevance.
The launch site has resulted in M&S taking more than 125,000 orders a day, more than 11,000 orders per hour and handling more than 3,000,000 page views an hour. The ‘Everyday Inspiration’ design has inspired consumers to return more frequently than ever, to the tune of transforming a £600m business to over a billion pound retailer.
